Seriously, bloggers?

Yes, I blog, but I wouldn't consider myself a blogger.  My posting is completely irregular and sometimes infrequent.  However, for those out there who earn a living off of writing up stuff for the whole world, please do yourselves (and everyone else) a favor and learn how to write.  I'm not talking about flow exactly.  I'm talking about spelling and punctuation and being aware of fun things like homonyms. (I seriously just read about someone getting hooked up to "ivy's" at the hospital.)  Don't make people stupider than they already are!  Because you're a professional writer (of sorts), people expect you to know what you're talking about when it comes to that sort of stuff.  And if you don't, please hire someone who does to edit your stuff.  Some of us have actually spent time reading a lot and paying attention in English class.  (I won't say I'm perfect either, but like I said, I don't consider myself a blogger.)
