What about when a TCK isn't a TCK?

TCK is the standard abbreviation for "third culture kid."  It basically means that a child is from one culture but spent a significant amount of time in a second culture (and therefore creates their own reality of a third culture which is a mix of those two cultures).

What if a child has a parent from one culture and a parent from another culture and is raised in just one of those cultures, never knowing much from the culture of the other parent?  What kind of kid are they?

Or what if a child has parents from the same culture but was born in the second culture and besides a small amount of family influence at home (which is probably altered by the second culture anyway), the child's reality is the second culture?

And what about when an adult who grew up in one culture then moves to another country and adapts to the new culture because being weird and alone is kind of the pits?  Definitely not a "kid."
